MURDER MYSTERY |
Notes: Welcome to the official page devoted to the translation of Shin Kor II: The Pyramid Murder Mystery by the illustrious Peter Payne. As with the first Shin Kor I novel, this ain't your usual, whimiscal, capricious KOR story. It is far more adult in nature. Thus be forewarned of adult situations and graphical violence. Please read with discretion. |
I am honored to be one of only two people to have beta read the translation
draft. Spending tens of hours to review the draft has been one of the most
rewarding experiences for me, as I helped in honing the rough stone of a
story into a sparkling gem of a masterpiece. Reiterating Peter's theme,
you should go out and buy the book, for nothing beats the original. And
of course this is a very rough translation. Plus the book contain several
dazzling graphic pictures, including a gorgeous, divine body shot of Madoka! That would be
reason enough to obtain the book. Last, you will be showing how much you
appreciate the Orange Road Series by supporting the creators.
If you have a copy of the Shin Kor II novel as a result of the translation or already have a copy or know someone who does, please let me know! I want to start a list of "loyal" KOR fans who support the anime they love. Please mail me at rk@soda.berkeley.edu If you have time, please visit Peter's Page or the game company he's working for: JASTUSA. Please be forewarned that these sites contain adult-based anime items. To avoid the server load and busy downtime, you're welcome to download the compressed version (80K) of the story and read it offline. |

Another thing to do is to bug your local bookstores to reorder the Shin KOR II novel! They should have it back in stock by December. (hint hint: Christmas gifts!) After reading the translation, you will see why December is the perfect month to go and buy the book for yourself and others.
